At Barcolobo we know that red wines are the favourites of many. But if there is one that has undoubtedly triumphed in recent months, that is our Victoria wine. If you have not tried it yet, we will tell you all the necessary information for you to choose it.

With the denomination of Tierra de Catilla y León, it is one of the most demanded wines. So much so that we only have a few units left.

Our vineyards cover an area of 20 hectares, where each and every one of the grapes are pampered in the best way. This is part of our philosophy, we seek excellence in our raw material. The result is grapes of exceptional quality that stand out for their great concentration.

Our vineyards and their grapes

Our grapes are harvested by hand, and the whole process from the moment we pick the grapes until they reach the bottle is meticulously cared for to the millimetre and in excellent conditions, ensuring that your palate feels the visit of this wine like never before.

Its vineyards, located over 15 hectares next to the Duero River, are characterised by their sandy and stony soils which, together with the continental climate, play a fundamental role in the development of the vines, producing this grape with such an exquisite flavour.

The uncrushed grapes are destemmed, and maceration and fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Aged for 12 months and another 12 months in the bottle, this wine has become a favourite of many.

Its garnet colour with violet rim is a call to the taste buds. Victoria is a very aromatic wine with hints of red fruits, spices and balsamic notes. It is capable of dazzling even the most demanding palate, providing a sensation of structure and volume in the mouth, leaving a persistent and fruity aftertaste.

If you’ve got the urge to try it, you’re still in time and don’t worry because the 2016 vintage is already ready, ready?
